As the 14th International Styrian Noise, Vibration and Harshness (ISNVH) Congress in Graz, GIANTS had the opportunity to engage with leading experts in automative engineering, acoustics and future mobility. The congress offered an ideal platform to discuss how the next generation of light electric vehicles can become not only cleaner and more energy-efficient, but also more comfortable, robust and user-oriented.
The ISNVH Congress is one of Europe’s key events for NVH research and vehicle development. Its mission is to drive innovations that improve acoustic comfort, durability and overall vehicle quality, all essential for sustainable mobility.
For GIANTS, this focus is highly relevant. Light electric vehicles must be lightweight, energy‑efficient and cost‑effective, yet still deliver a safe and acceptable user experience. NVH is central to achieving this balance, as it directly affects perceived quality, safety, durability and everyday comfort.
At the Virtual Vehicle booth our colleagues Nicola Contartese and Pius Sonnberger from Virtual Vehicle explained GIANTS’ technical approach from lightweight NVH strategies to frugal engineering, and collected feedback and collaboration leads that will inform our next development steps. The exchange with the NVH and automotive engineering community provided valuable insights and new connections that will support the project’s next steps.
