We are happy to share that our Deliverable 3.2 “Validation plan” is now completed and ready to be applied in work packages, helping guide the experimental verification of the GIANTS frugal vehicle platform! This plan doesn’t just simplify verification but also turns it into a more meaningful step in the progress.
Key focus areas:
- Structured and transparent framework: The validation plan is based on an Excel, categorizing the various requirements in a clear way. This implies effortless traceability.
- Coverage from components and subsystems: The plan covers both the component and the subsystem level requirements, ensuring functionality and user-friendliness. Partners can easily make sure if the intended functions and expectations are met.
- Risk prevention and cost efficiency: To avoid delays and unnecessary costs, test responsibilities and procedures are clearly defined. This supports the frugal design philosophy of the vehicle platform. In addition to that, the plan includes flexibility to accommodate upcoming updates as the project evolves. Furthermore, a feedback loop makes sure that requirements are implemented as intended.
