Pius Sonnberger, one of our technical coordinators, represented the GIANTS project at the 3rd UltraLight EV Conference, held by Extrême Défi. Joining the event virtually, he provided an overview of the project, its mission to redefine sustainable urban mobility, and its vision for modular, zero-emission L-type vehicles tailored to specific urban traffic needs in both advanced and emerging markets.
Pius’s presentation provided an overview of the stakeholder survey conducted as part of WP2, highlighting its role in capturing the needs and expectations of stakeholders across diverse geographical and socio-economic contexts. Additionally, he emphasized the advantages of employing a well-defined platform concept to develop mission-tailored products for the L-vehicle market. The session also served as a platform to discuss how GIANTS aligns with broader sustainability goals, addressing challenges such as user acceptance and infrastructure development.
